Library

The library of the Czech Children's Book Centre, a specialized selection library, offers all interested parties high-quality contemporary domestic literature for children and youth of all ages and genres. In order to be able to read with us and borrow books at home, you just need to register. Anyone can become a member who, with their signature, undertakes to observe the library's (dis)order and pays an annual membership fee of CZK 100. And what are the benefits of membership? You will get access to the best books for children and young people selected from the catalog Best books for children, spend time in the pleasant surroundings of the Center, you can use the services of the librarian and take part in regular reading workshops for the public. Drinking regimen ensured!

Our stock includes titles from the publishing houses Albatros, Argo, Baobab, Běžíliška, Cesta domú, Host, Meander, Labyrinth, Paseka, Pasparta, Portal, Práh, Verzone and others. We are gradually expanding the stock of quality reading.

The library is open during the opening hours of the Center itself, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 13:00 to 17:00.

Registration takes place in person directly at the Center.
